I personally love the faction conflict, and I was upset that there wasn't more of it in Legion, given what we saw in Stormheim. These are just my opinions, and I wanted to get other people's thoughts. The whole thing in Legion I feel could be solved with a simple conversation, and a lot of situations could just be avoided but aren't for the sake of forcing a conflict story that people don't want.

I'm sure the various races have their own opinions, but once you join a government system, you either follow it, or leave. Anduin would almost certainly deprive them of Alliance support, in response. If the Night Elves decided against joining the war, they're no longer part of the Alliance. If the Blood Elves *don't* support a war effort, they're out of the horde because that's just how that goes. So while I'd like to see Blood Elves, Tauren, Etc, having their own opinion, I don't think it would change much. The reality tends to be that those in charge declare a war, and the rest of us get dragged along. Not everyone is for, or against, certain wars we've engaged in. That said, you get that in, say, the USA. A blood elf should have a different view on things than an orc would. The worst part of the faction war is how Blizzard treats the factions as monoliths.
